Fancy a fisherman’s basket? Then you have come to the right place. East Gippsland has every type of fishing experience and fish you could imagine.

On the Gippsland Lakes and Rivers fishing just goes with the flow. All the surrounding towns and villages offer the best amenities you could find. You can start on the lakes but explore rivers like the Tambo and Nicholson and Mitchell, with rod and reel, high in hope of landing a famous bream. Dangle a line over the side of a boat or off the end of a jetty and you are likely to catch a flathead, mullet or even a luderick, a special lake fish.

If you are looking for bait or fishing supplies you will have no trouble as we really do cater for our fishing fraternity.

With about 40 public jetties or moorings pump out stations and refuelling centres right on the water, where else but the Gippsland Lakes for the ultimate fishing experience.
