Slip Bight Marina on the Gippsland Lakes

Slip Bight Marina aerialThe Slip Bight Marina is strategically built in the protected water of McMillian Straits. The East Gippsland Shire Council operates the marina on behalf of the community under the Committee of Management of the Department of Sustainaibility & Environment.

The town of Paynesville provides restaurants, shops and boating services such as fuelling & pumpout facilities, boat ramp & slip yards and a host of quality marine contractors for boat services.

Surrounded by parkland with a wildlife nesting zone frequented by our resident black swan colony, the Slip Bight Marina has paved waterfront parking facilities and currently, 4 jetties (or 168 berths) with berth sizes ranging from 8 metres up to 18 metres.

Each Marina jetty has secured access with power & water services.

The Marina also includes a recently upgraded Berth Holder lounge, kitchen, laundry, showers and toilet facilities. All these services are under the same roof with the Cruiser Club restaurant.
